新進気鋭かつ非日常的な空間に絡む、鉄壁のグルーヴと男女ツインヴォーカル。
ヴィブラフォン、パーカッション、カオスパッドを大胆に取り入れ、
おもちゃ箱をひっくり返すような残酷さと無邪気さが融合したその音は唯一無二。


2000年07月　 埼玉にて結成。
　　　　　　　　自主企画イベントを定期的に開催し、
　　　　　　　　数多くのライヴやオムニバスアルバムへ参加する。

2004年01月　 4曲入りCD-R　『Coffee shop Daddy & Coffee cup Mammy』をリリース。
　　　　　　　　300枚を即日完売。

2004年11月　 続く2曲入りDEMO音源『Cowbell and bread / Daniel 18』を無料配布。
　　　　　　　　グリコ商品のタイアップやミニストップでのパワープレイを獲得。

2005年08月　 Vo&Gu Kawanaがイギリス留学のため、急遽活動休止。

　　　　　　　　4曲入りDEMO音源『Early in June / Papapa / That Girl / Wanna be』を無料配布。

2006年07月　 Vo&Gu Kawanaが帰国、活動再開。

2007年08月　 原宿ASTROHALLにてワンマンライヴを行う。

2007年09月　 代々木GATEWAY STUDIOにて、自主企画フリーイベント
　　　　　　　　『YESMAN KILLED EXPRESSION』を行う。

2008年01月　 1年ほどお休みしたayuが復帰。
　　　　　　　　長期間のレコーディングに入る。

2009年09月　 BOWINMAN MUSIC PUBLISHINGの音楽配信サイト
　　　　　　　　『PEACE-MAKER』から『Wannabe / BmW』を配信。

2009年11月　 西麻布Sweet Emotionのプレオープンイベントに出演。

2009年12月　 『PEACE-MAKER』から『6 minutes ago / To be』を配信。


NEIGHBOURHOOD was formed by 3 members from Saitama in July 2000.
The band introduces variouse elements to rockmusic such as New Wave Post Rock Mixture etc..
The song "Cowbell and bread"published in 2004 tie up with Glico
and its song was played at Convinience Store for a month.

In 2005 Aug Kawana(Gu Vo) went to England to study and stopped their activities.
Returning from England in July 2006 introducing new elements such as Grunge and Club music to their song,
NEIGHBOURHOOD started their band again.
